Design: Setting the Foundation
We start by creating a comprehensive plan that considers your property’s unique needs:
• Testing and evaluating soil to address deficiencies.
• Designing systems that optimize water harvesting, conservation and efficient irrigation.
• Identifying microclimates based on sunlight, wind conditions, soils and moisture that mimic local plant communities.
• Incorporating edible herbs, berries, fruits and vegies where appropriate.
•Tailoring a design that suits your family needs, and HOA requirements and conservation goals.
-

Site Prep: Preparing for Success
Once the design is finalized, we prepare an estimate and review the conceptual design to finalize priorities and next steps.
Some sites need some cleanup and or pruning to open the site for trails, garden beds, etc.
If additional hardscaping is needed, such as decks, fencing or beds, then sometimes that is done prior to YGC installation, by our partner businesses in construction.
-

Install: Bringing Your Landscape to Life
After site prep is complete, the property begins to look more natural with each element preparing for new life and beauty.
• Curving trails are flagged and begin to define the beds.
• Boulders may be added to mimic natural topography.
• Planting native species to enhance biodiversity and support local ecosystems in there rightful place.
•Amending the soil with beneficial microbes, organic matter and adjusting pH will improve plant health. and plant success.
• Ensuring all elements are installed with precision and care to thrive for years to come.
-
